Many of you have never been to Aviary, or heard of it, or left your house before. Here’s the scoop: it’s a home decor store that’s also a wine and beer bar that’s also a lounge that’s also a movies/music venue. You can find it between Birds and Black Sheep Lounge at Oltorf and South Lamar.

It’s quite small and cozy. Seating consists of flouncing benches, designer couches, and beanbag chairs. Shoes are optional. There’s a shag carpet that almost nobody has had sex on.

Sets will be 3-5 minutes, depending on the list length. We’ll always try to finish in time for people to see the shows at the Velv. Sign-up starts at roughly 6:30. Let’s just see what this turns into. Group hug? Group hug.
