Well, aside from recent distracting events, I'm temporarily divorced from home internet, as my beloved iMac has undergone massive monitor failure. It will be five business days until the new 27" monitor is shipped, then an undetermined number of business days until some postal delivery service gets it to the apartment, and we all know that business days are the longest days known to man.
Sure, I could thumb out entries on my phone (like I'm doing now!) but writing on a phone is like thinking in a foreign language with a vocabulary dictionary in hand. You gotta take it one word at a time.
And sure, I could use my wife's PC laptop, but writing in Windows is like ... work.
I do have stories to tell, between my weekend in a rock recording studio and the phantom return of the dog, but the world, despite revolving around me, seems to move on without me. A mathematical puzzle for future generations, to be sure.
I will also be uploading the memorial slideshow to YouTube soon, and I'll post a link here. Thanks to everyone who has requested that, and a huge thanks to everyone who has expressed concern, sympathy, condolences, love, memories, and little chucks on the chin these past two weeks. They've all meant a lot, even if I'm not excellent at responding to individual communications.
